Skills Development
WSP/ATR compliance and mandatory targets through self-funded, co-funded and externally funded training models — including disability spend and learnership headcount.
Skills Development is a priority element. Miss the 40% sub-minimum on it and your whole scorecard drops a level, regardless of how well the other elements score.
What we take on
- Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report preparation and submission
- Spend planning against the maximum points on overall training spend and on bursaries
- Disability skills development spend, which carries its own target
- Headcount planning for learnerships, internships and apprenticeships
- Placement of unemployed learners through accredited providers
- The evidence file the verification agency will ask for
How the funding works
Three models, and most clients end up using a mix: self-funded where you carry the cost and take the points; co-funded where a SETA discretionary grant covers part of it; and externally funded where a partner carries the programme and you buy in.
